Join our Paddling Adventure! Saturday, Sept, 2 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Paddling Paradise is pairing with The Mansion in Melbourne FL for a Stand Up Paddleboard(SUP), Kayak & Cold Brew Adventure. We will begin our adventure at the Front Street Park boat launch area. Included is a comprehensive on land instruction course prior to paddling, followed by a 60-90 minute SUP and kayak tour on the Indian River and up into Crane Creek and back. After the paddle, we'll head over to The Mansion, which is walking distance from Front StreetPark. We will have a reserved area to congregate with fellow paddlers. Each participant will receive a $10.00 gift card to use toward beverages and food. Total price for this adventure is $45 per person. Gear included is a high quality paddleboard or kayak, paddle, leash, whistle, and personal floatation device(PFD). If you have your own SUP or kayak the price is $20 per person. A leash for your board, a whistle and PFD are required if you bring your own equipment. You may purchase these items from Paddling Paradise if you need them. The 9:00 AM start time is your MEET time, not your Tour Departure time When you arrive at Front Street Park, check in with the Paddling Paradise Guides, complete a waiver and get geared up. We will then conduct a safety meeting, followed by paddling instruction. Next we will launch our SUPs and Kayaks to enjoy a leisurely 60-90 minute paddle out to a party barge where we will break for snacks and drinks. Then we will return to Front St Park, turn in our gear and you receive a $10. gift card to redeem at The Mansion, 1218 E New Haven Blvd, Melbourne, FL to celebrate with fellow paddlers!
Important Information Conditions can be unpredictable in the Indian River. It is important to prepare well to get the most enjoyment from your adventure. Your guides are very familiar with the paddling environment and conditions. Ask any questions in order to understand all you need to know to be confident about your adventure. Your safety is our number one priority. With that being said, Stand Up Paddleboarding and Kayaking are enjoyable and uncomplicated water activities that are relatively easy. This is a great event for first timers as well as experienced paddlers.
What to bring… Clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet such as a swim suit, board shorts, shirt , cover-ups. Avoid cotton. It takes FOREVER to dry! Bring an extra change of clothes just in case… Hat & sunglasses and SUNSCREEN Camera & Dry bag (optional) Phone - We will have waterproof, floatable phone pouches for sale for $15.00.
